Poppi actions (AI)

Article Content

Poppi is Pilla's AI assistant that can perform automated actions related to the leaderboard. These actions celebrate team achievements by recognising when members set new streak records, helping to motivate staff and encourage consistent performance.

Accessing Poppi leaderboard actions

Poppi leaderboard actions are configured from the web app by managers and admins.

  1. Go to the Leaderboard tab
  2. Tap the tab icon again when it becomes the blue menu button
  3. Select Poppi leaderboard actions
  4. The Poppi leaderboard actions drawer opens

The drawer has a Managers tab showing the available actions. Both leaderboard actions are manager-level settings that control celebrations visible to the whole team.

Each action shows a No/Yes toggle to enable or disable it.

Clock-in streak celebrations

Posts a celebratory message to the team chat when a team member beats the team's clock-in streak record. A clock-in streak counts how many consecutive shifts a user clocks in on time.

Who receives it: Everyone (posted to team chat, controlled by managers)

When it runs: Automatically, when a team member sets a new clock-in streak record for the team

How it works: Pilla tracks each user's consecutive on-time clock-ins. When a user beats the team's existing record, Poppi posts a celebratory message to the team chat recognising their achievement. This encourages punctuality and creates friendly competition within the team.

Example: James has clocked in on time for 24 shifts in a row, beating the Kitchen Team's previous record of 22 set by Sarah. Poppi posts a message to the Kitchen Team chat celebrating James's new record.

Work streak celebrations

Posts a celebratory message to the team chat when a team member beats the team's work completion streak record. A work streak counts how many consecutive work items a user completes fully (all elements ticked off with no issues raised).

Who receives it: Everyone (posted to team chat, controlled by managers)

When it runs: Automatically, when a team member sets a new work completion streak record for the team

How it works: Pilla tracks each user's consecutive fully-completed work items. When a user beats the team's existing record, Poppi posts a celebratory message to the team chat recognising their achievement. This encourages thorough work completion and motivates the team to maintain high standards.

Example: Emma has completed 18 work items in a row with no issues, beating the Front of House team's previous record of 15 set by Tom. Poppi posts a message to the Front of House chat celebrating Emma's new record.
