- How are leaderboard points calculated?
- Teams earn 3 points for every on-time clock-in or on-time work completion, and 1 point for late. On top of that, consecutive on-time events build a streak which adds a bonus multiplier. The multiplier increases by 1% per streak event, so a streak of 10 gives a 1.10x multiplier on your points and a streak of 50 gives 1.50x. If someone clocks in late or work is completed late, the streak resets to zero.
- Do rankings reset every month?
- Yes. Every team starts fresh at the beginning of each month. This keeps the competition fair and gives every team a chance to win.
- What are hot streaks?
- A hot streak builds when a team clocks in on time or completes work on time for consecutive events. Each event adds to the streak and increases the bonus multiplier. One late event resets it to zero. Nobody wants to be the one who breaks the streak.
- Do staff earn individual or team points?
- Points are earned at team level. When any team member clocks in on time or completes work, the whole team benefits. This encourages teams to support each other.
- Can teams see each other's scores?
- Yes. The leaderboard shows all teams ranked by their monthly score. Everyone can see where they stand relative to the others.
- What happens if a streak is broken?
- The streak resets to zero and the team starts building again. One late clock-in or one late work completion is all it takes. Poppi announces when streaks are broken so the team knows.
- Does the leaderboard create unhealthy competition?
- The leaderboard is team-based, not individual. It rewards consistency, not speed. Teams that support each other and show up on time together are the ones that win. In practice, it builds accountability and camaraderie.
- Can I see historical leaderboard results?
- Yes. Previous monthly results are stored so you can track how teams have performed over time and spot trends.
- Does Poppi announce leaderboard milestones?
- Yes. Poppi posts streak milestones, new records, ranking changes, and monthly winners directly into the team chat. The celebrations happen naturally without you having to do anything.
- Can I customise the point values?
- The point system is standardised to keep competition fair across teams. Punctual shifts, completed work, and streak bonuses all contribute to a team's score.
