Work settings
Article Content
Work settings control how work items behave across your organisation. Only Admins can access and change these settings. You must configure shift settings before you can save work settings.
Accessing work settings
- Go to the Work tab (the check icon)
- Tap the blue menu button
- Select Edit work settings
- The Work Settings drawer opens with a Save button in the top-right corner
Work settings fields
Both fields accept numbers only.
- How many days into the future should staff see work? (number input, required) -- Staff will only see work scheduled within this many days. For example, entering "7" means staff see one week of upcoming work. Defaults to 7.
- How many minutes grace will you allow for late work completions? (number input, required) -- Completions within this grace period still count as on time. For example, entering "5" means a completion up to 5 minutes past the deadline scores full points on the leaderboard. Defaults to 5.
Saving work settings
Tap Save in the top-right corner. The drawer closes straight away and your changes are saved in the background. You will see a confirmation message once the save completes.
If shift settings have not been configured yet, the Save button is disabled and a warning message appears asking you to configure shift settings first.
Tips
- Start with a view window of 7 days and adjust based on how far ahead your teams plan
- A grace period of 0 means any completion after the deadline counts as late
- Changes apply immediately after saving and affect all users in your organisation
- Work settings are organisation-wide -- they cannot be set per team
- If Save is disabled, go to the Shifts tab and configure shift settings first
