Learn the personal hygiene standards required for food handlers, plus how Pilla and AI help you build hygiene procedures into your system.
Join Liam Jones, founder of Pilla and a qualified food safety consultant, for a session on personal hygiene.
Hands must be washed for at least 20 seconds with antibacterial soap, covering all surfaces including between fingers, under nails, thumbs, and wrists. Paper towels must be used for drying, never shared cloth towels.
Jewellery (except plain wedding bands), false nails, nail varnish, watches, and strong perfumes or aftershaves are prohibited. These items can harbour bacteria, fall into food, or transfer chemical contamination.
Before handling food, after touching raw food, after using the toilet, after handling waste, after touching your face or hair, after sneezing or coughing, and after handling cleaning chemicals. Every contamination event requires a full hand wash.
See how personal hygiene fits into your wider food safety management system in Pilla. We walk through how to build this into your system so that your team has clear processes, accountability, and a documented trail that proves compliance.
Learn how AI can speed up this process and connect Pilla to your other tools, giving you a much more joined up system across your business.
Bring your questions, we'll be answering them live throughout.
