5 best Repsly alternatives (2026): AI that acts inside the work, or retail execution for CPG field teams
I wrote this because I keep getting asked what to use instead of Repsly. I ran restaurants for years. I know the job: you want the floor to do the work without you chasing every check.
Repsly sells retail execution software to CPG brands and retail service providers. Field reps check into stores on iPhone, iPad or Android. They fill surveys, take shelf photos, place orders and log the workday. Managers schedule visits in the web portal, watch the activity feed and photo gallery, and can add ShelfScan image recognition and Territory Advisor.
I built Pilla so you can turn a process you already know into a workflow on a canvas. Your team runs it on a phone, tablet or the web app. Pilla can fetch, decide and act while the work is happening. You keep the judgement calls.
If you want to try it on a process you already run, open the canvas.
I would pick Pilla when I want AI to act inside the work. I would keep Repsly when I want store visits bundled with field orders and shelf image recognition. I would look at GoSpotCheck when I want field missions plus shelf photo AI.
How did we compare them?
I ask the same twelve questions I use on every vs page. For this shortlist I stayed with frontline ops tools. I put Pilla first because that is the product I built. GoSpotCheck is the field-missions product people name next to Repsly. YOOBIC is the store-ops suite with comms, learning and VM photo scoring. Pazo is the photo-led visual merchandising app. Opterus is the HQ-to-store comms, tasks and merch bundle. I left out office task apps, Zapier-style automation, and rota products. I read their public docs on 16 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.
I am Liam Jones. I founded Pilla after more than ten years running hospitality operations, food safety and frontline teams. On 16 September 2026 I sat with Repsly's current help: how to create a form, visit tasks, messenger, GPS on activities and the API. I also read the pricing page, ShelfScan and Territory Advisor, then GoSpotCheck task types and pricing, YOOBIC task management and pricing, Pazo platform and pricing, and Opterus Task Manager and Where Opterus Shines. I have not lived in a paid Repsly, GoSpotCheck, YOOBIC, Pazo or Opterus account for this write-up. I am telling you what their docs say.
What should you take away?
- I would pick Pilla if I wanted the floor to follow the process without me chasing every check
- I would pick Pilla if I wanted the work checked as it comes in, and followed up when something needs me
- I would keep Repsly if I needed store visits, field orders and shelf image recognition from one vendor
- I would look at GoSpotCheck if I needed field missions plus shelf photo AI

I built Pilla for AI work management on the floor. Repsly sells retail execution software for CPG field teams. The other names on this page are real substitutes for part of that job, not clones.
What is Repsly, and why look elsewhere?
Repsly holds store visits, surveys, shelf photos and field orders in one place. You prove the work with photos, signatures and GPS stamped on the activity. You can add ShelfScan image recognition and Territory Advisor. Field reps check in on iPhone, iPad or Android. Managers schedule visits in the web portal and watch the activity feed and photo gallery. The job is retail execution for CPG brands and retail service providers.
People look for a Repsly alternative when they want AI inside the run, a published price, a visual canvas, or they do not want to buy visit routing, field orders and shelf image recognition from the same vendor. Some stay because that suite is the job.
I would keep Repsly if I needed store visits, field orders and shelf image recognition from one vendor. Visit scheduling, GPS time and mileage, the job board and ShelfScan are a fair reason to stay.
Price: No public software price. Sales quote.
Trial: No advertised self-serve trial. Product tour or proof of concept.
Why people stay
- Store visits, surveys, shelf photos and field orders in one product
- 1:1 and group messenger plus activity comments
- REST API plus CRM, ERP and POS integrations
- ShelfScan and Territory Advisor if you buy those add-ons
Why people look
- No public software price
- I could not find an AI step that fetches, decides and acts inside a designed run
- I could not find an MCP server
- 12-month annual contract, billed for named users
- Pricing FAQ says no free trial
What are the best Repsly alternatives?
1. Pilla
Operators who want AI to act inside the work
I built Pilla so you can turn a process you already know into a workflow on a canvas. Your team runs it on a phone, tablet or the web app. Pilla checks the work as it comes in and follows up when something needs you. You keep the judgement calls. I did not build shift scheduling, payroll, HR, field order entry or retailer POS. If you need those, keep them on Repsly or another vendor. You can open it the same day. Starter is £49 a month with 500 processed workflows. Pro is £99 with 1,000, and adds AI automations inside Pilla. Every new account gets a 14-day trial of every Pro feature, with no card. People are unlimited.
“Pilla helps me have a day off knowing that procedures will be followed”
Charles, owner of 11 hospitality sites
Pros
- Visual canvas with branching
- Written, photo and video guidance beside each step
- DMs and group chats next to the work
- MCP server, API and integrations
- Unlimited people, billed on processed workflows
Cons
- No field order entry or retailer POS

Price: Starter £49 / 500 workflows. Pro £99 / 1,000. 14-day Pro trial, no card.
2. GoSpotCheck
CPG, retail and beverage teams that want shelf photo AI plus field missions
I would look at GoSpotCheck when I want field missions plus shelf photo AI. FORM acquired GoSpotCheck in 2020. You still log into the GoSpotCheck app. You build Missions, collect photo and signature proof, and you can add image recognition, PhotoWorks, Insights and a Communications hub. Checking is image recognition, scoring and logic rules. I could not find a chat tab in the live mobile navigation help. Essentials starts at $40 per user per month with a 20-user minimum.
Pros
- Mission builder with conditional tasks
- Image recognition on shelf and display photos
- Public Essentials price from $40 per user
- PhotoWorks and Looker Insights if you buy those add-ons
Cons
- You pay per user, with a 20-user minimum
- Image recognition, PhotoWorks, Insights and Communications are add-ons
- I could not find an MCP server
- I could not find a chat tab in the live mobile navigation help
Price: Essentials from $40/user/month. 20-user minimum. Pro and Enterprise quote.
3. YOOBIC
Retail chains that want tasks, comms, learning and store AI in one app
I would look at YOOBIC when I want store tasks, comms, learning and VM photo scoring from one vendor. Store teams log into YOOBIC ONE on a phone, tablet or the web app. They run missions, chat and take mobile courses. HQ builds campaign forms, collects photo proof and scores visits. AI is an assistant, a Store Manager Copilot and a VM Copilot that reviews display photos. I could not find a public software price. They offer a demo, a product tour or a 4-week proof of value.
Pros
- Tasks, comms and learning in one store app
- 1:1 and group chat, plus a newsfeed
- VM Copilot photo scoring
- 200-plus integrations and a public API
Cons
- No public software price
- You pay by stores, locations or users and modules
- I could not find an MCP server
- I could not find video, audio, files or signatures as mission fields
Price: No public software price. Sales quote. Demo or 4-week proof of value.
4. Pazo
Teams that want photo-led visual merchandising and store tasks
I would look at Pazo when I want photo-led visual merchandising with tickets and store chat. Staff run digital checklists, take live photos and often video or audio. An AI agent can score a shelf photo against a planogram, then open a ticket if it fails. Chat, broadcasts and training sit in the same app. They quote you by locations, users and modules. A 15-day trial is advertised.
Pros
- Photo-led visual merchandising with planogram scoring
- 1:1, team and broadcast chat
- Tickets that can open from a failed photo
- 15-day trial advertised
Cons
- No public software price
- I could not find an MCP server or a public API reference
- I could not find a drawn e-signature field
- I could not find a native iPad listing
Price: No public software price. Sales quote. 15-day trial advertised.
5. Opterus
Retail HQ that wants store comms, tasks and merch execution together
I would look at Opterus when I want HQ-to-store comms, tasks and merch execution in one associate app. HQ sends targeted messages with read receipts, assigns multi-step tasks, and ships planograms with photo merch reviews. You can add audits, tickets, documents, tests and store scheduling. I could not find a public software price. They offer a demo and a custom trial setup in a few days.
Pros
- HQ messages with read receipts
- Multi-step tasks, planograms and merch photo reviews
- Person-to-person and group chat
- All-inclusive quote with no extra fees for users, they say
Cons
- No public software price
- I could not find an MCP server
- I could not find a public help centre
- I could not find video, audio or signatures as capture types
Price: No public software price. Sales quote. Custom trial setup.
Which should you pick?
If I ran a CPG brand or retail service agency that needed store visits, shelf photos, field orders, POS and optional image recognition from one vendor, I would keep Repsly. Visit scheduling, GPS time and mileage, the job board and ShelfScan are a fair reason to stay. If I wanted the work drawn on a canvas and AI acting inside the run, with MCP, I would use Pilla, and I would keep orders, POS and routing somewhere else. If the job is field missions plus shelf photo AI, I would look at GoSpotCheck. If the job is store tasks plus comms and learning, I would look at YOOBIC.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Repsly alternative?
I would pick Pilla if I wanted the floor to follow a process, with the work checked as it comes in. I would keep Repsly if I needed store visits, field orders and shelf image recognition from one vendor. I would look at GoSpotCheck for field missions plus shelf photo AI, YOOBIC for store tasks plus comms and learning, Pazo for photo-led visual merchandising, and Opterus for HQ-to-store comms and merch.
Does Repsly have AI inside the work?
ShelfScan reads shelf photos and can return availability issues in under 60 seconds. Territory Advisor recommends coverage changes a person applies. Forms check with rules, mandatory questions and email alerts. I could not find an AI step that fetches, decides or acts inside a designed run, or an MCP server.
How much do these Repsly alternatives cost?
Repsly quotes you. I could not find a public software price. Plans are Core, Grow, Scale and Flex, billed for authorized users on a 12-month annual contract. Pilla is Starter at £49 a month with 500 processed workflows, and Pro at £99 with 1,000. People are unlimited. GoSpotCheck publishes Essentials from $40 per user per month with a 20-user minimum. YOOBIC, Pazo and Opterus quote you.
Does switching from Repsly replace orders, POS and visit routing?
No. I did not build Pilla for field sales order entry, retailer POS or territory routing, and I left shift scheduling, payroll and HR out on purpose. If you need those jobs, keep them on Repsly or another retail-execution product.
How did you pick this shortlist?
I stayed with frontline ops tools and used the same twelve questions I use on every vs page. I read public docs on 16 September 2026. I left out office task apps, Zapier-style automation, and rota products. The deep tables live on the vs pages linked from each name.
