Falcony vs Storecall (2026): observations and involvement tools, or linked field audits with ZAR seats
I wrote this because I keep getting asked how Falcony and Storecall compare. I ran restaurants for years. I know the job: you want the floor to do the work without you chasing every check.
Falcony joined WeKomply in April 2025. You still log into Falcony at app.falcony.io. People report observations and run scored audits in the browser, attach photos and files, and assign follow-up. You can add whistleblowing, a tenant portal, chemicals and ESG if you buy those suites.
Storecall is an inspection-grade operations platform rooted in South Africa. You build scored field audits with photo, geotag and signature evidence, then chain corrective workflows, approvals and pivot reporting across locations. Nova AI summarises submissions and flags anomalies after capture. You can add asset management and scheduling.
I built Pilla so you can turn a process you already know into a workflow on a canvas. Your team runs it on a phone, tablet or the web app. Pilla can fetch, decide and act while the work is happening. You keep the judgement calls.
If you want to try it on a process you already run, open the canvas.
Quick Summary
I would pick Falcony when I want observations, scored audits and involvement tools together. I would pick Storecall when I want scored field audits with linked corrective follow-up, assets and ZAR per-user pricing. I would pick Pilla when I want AI to act inside the work.
- I would pick Falcony if I needed observations, scored audits and involvement tools such as whistleblowing or a tenant portal
- I would pick Storecall if I needed scored field audits with linked corrective workflows, assets and ZAR per-user pricing with unlimited submissions
- I would pick Pilla if I wanted a process I already know drawn on a canvas, with branching, not another list, inspection template or form builder
- I would pick Pilla if I wanted AI to fetch, decide and act inside the run, not photo flags, scores or an assistant around the report
How did we compare them?
I ask the same twelve questions on every comparison. For Falcony I went back to Falcony help and product pages. For Storecall I went back to their homepage, pricing, free templates, build-my-checklist and compare pages. I read those public docs on 23 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.
I am Liam Jones. I founded Pilla after more than ten years running hospitality operations, food safety and frontline teams. On 23 September 2026 I sat with Falcony's What is Falcony, observation templates, audit question types, conducting an audit, assigning an observation, AI summaries, AI Answers, add-ons, integrations and the photo library, then with Storecall's homepage, pricing, free templates, build-my-checklist and their SafetyCulture and GoAudits compare pages. I have not lived in a paid Falcony or Storecall account for this write-up. I am telling you what their docs say.

What is Falcony, and when should you pick it?
Falcony holds observations and scored audits in one place. You prove the work with photos, signatures and attachments. You assign a finding, set a due date and close it with follow-up questions. You can add whistleblowing, a tenant portal, a chemical SDS register and ESG packs. Falcony joined WeKomply on 16 April 2025. You still log in at app.falcony.io.
I would pick Falcony if I needed observations, scored audits and involvement tools from one vendor. That suite is a fair reason to stay.
Price: No public software price. Sales quote.
Trial: 30-day free trial. Separate 30-day ESG trial.

When is Pilla the third option?
If the job is observations, scored audits and involvement tools, pick Falcony. If the job is scored field audits with linked corrective workflows, assets and a published ZAR seat price, pick Storecall. I built Pilla for a different job. You draw the process on a canvas. The team runs it on a phone, tablet or the web app. Pilla checks the work as it comes in and follows up when something needs you. I did not build whistleblowing, a tenant portal, ESG or an asset register. If you need those, keep them on Falcony, Storecall or another vendor. You can open Pilla the same day. Pay as you go is £199 a month with 1,500 processed workflows included, then 15p each. Enterprise is from £999 a month. Talk to us to get set up. People are unlimited.

Which should you pick?
I would pick Falcony if I needed observations, scored audits and involvement tools from one vendor. I would pick Storecall if I needed scored field audits with linked corrective workflows, assets and ZAR per-user pricing with unlimited submissions. If I wanted the work drawn on a canvas and AI acting inside the run, with DMs and MCP, I would use Pilla, and I would keep whistleblowing, a tenant portal, ESG and the audit product somewhere else.
