I wrote this because I keep getting asked how YOOBIC and Pazo compare. I ran restaurants for years. I know the job: you want the floor to do the work without you chasing every check.

YOOBIC sells an AI-powered retail store operations platform. Store teams log into YOOBIC ONE on a phone, tablet or the web app. They run missions, chat and take mobile courses. HQ builds campaign forms, collects photo proof, scores visits and watches dashboards.

Pazo sells AI visual merchandising and task management for store and facility teams. You log into the Pazo app. Staff run digital checklists and workflows and take live photos. An AI agent can score a shelf photo against a planogram, then open a ticket if it fails.

I built Pilla so you can turn a process you already know into a workflow on a canvas. Your team runs it on a phone, tablet or the web app. Pilla can fetch, decide and act while the work is happening. You keep the judgement calls.

If you want to try it on a process you already run, open the canvas.

I would keep YOOBIC when I want store tasks bundled with comms, learning and VM photo scoring. I would keep Pazo when I want photo-led visual merchandising with tickets and store chat. I would pick Pilla when I want AI to act inside the work.

How did we compare them?

I ask the same twelve questions on every comparison. For YOOBIC I went back to their product pages, help and public API. For Pazo I went back to their public marketing, platform, pricing, release notes and App Store listing. I read those public pages on 16 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.

I am Liam Jones. I founded Pilla after more than ten years running hospitality operations, food safety and frontline teams. On 16 September 2026 I sat with YOOBIC's homepage, task management, communications, learning, the copilots, the public API, integrations and pricing, then with Pazo's platform, visual merchandising, shelf image recognition, pricing, release notes 10.4 and 10.5, and the App Store listing. I have not lived in a paid YOOBIC or Pazo account for this write-up. I am telling you what their public pages say. I could not find a public Pazo help centre.

What should you take away?

  • I would keep YOOBIC if I needed retail store ops, comms, learning and VM photo scoring from one vendor
  • I would keep Pazo if I needed photo-led visual merchandising from one vendor
  • I would pick Pilla if I wanted the floor to follow the process without me chasing every check
  • I would pick Pilla if I wanted the work checked as it comes in, and followed up when something needs me

Best forRetail chains that want tasks, comms, learning and store AI in one appTeams that want photo-led visual merchandising and store tasks

YOOBIC sells an AI-powered retail store operations platform. Pazo sells AI visual merchandising and retail task management. They overlap on store tasks, photo proof and chat. They split on learning, a newsfeed and visit scoring versus planogram image scoring and auto-tickets. I built Pilla for a different job: AI acting inside the run.

What is YOOBIC, and when should you keep it?

YOOBIC holds opening, visual merchandising, promo and compliance work in one place. You prove it with photos, scores and geotagged capture. You coach from visits with action plans. You push a newsfeed plus 1:1 and group chat. You train with a gamified LMS. Copilots brief managers and flag bad displays.

I would keep YOOBIC if I needed retail store ops, comms, learning and VM photo scoring from one vendor. That suite is a fair reason to stay.

Price: No public software price. Sales quote.

Trial: Demo, product tour or 4-week proof of value. No advertised self-serve trial.

Why people stay on YOOBIC

  • Store tasks, comms and learning in one app
  • 1:1 and group chat plus a newsfeed
  • VM Copilot and Store Manager Copilot
  • Public REST API and 200-plus integrations

Why people look

  • No public software price
  • I could not find an AI step inside a campaign the worker is running
  • I could not find video, audio, files or signatures as mission fields
  • I could not find a self-serve trial

What is Pazo, and when should you keep it?

Pazo holds visual merchandising, planogram checks, opening lists and audits in one app. You prove the work with live geo-tagged photos. Image AI scores a shelf against a planogram, then a ticket can open if it fails. Chat, broadcasts and training sit next to the work. You log into the Pazo app at app.gopazo.com. Attendance sits on their Enterprise plan if you buy that module.

I would keep Pazo if I needed photo-led visual merchandising from one vendor. That photo-led merchandising is a fair reason to stay.

Price: No public software price. Sales quote.

Trial: 15-day free trial advertised. Demo also offered.

Why people stay on Pazo

  • Planogram scoring from a shelf photo
  • Tickets and escalations from a failed check
  • 1:1, team and broadcast chat
  • Training modules sit in the same app

Why people look

  • No public software price
  • I could not find a public API reference
  • I could not find a public help centre
  • I could not find a drawn signature field

When is Pilla the third option?

If the job is store tasks plus comms, learning and VM photo scoring, keep YOOBIC. If the job is photo-led visual merchandising with tickets, keep Pazo. I built Pilla for a different job. You draw the process on a canvas. The team runs it on a phone, tablet or the web app. Pilla checks the work as it comes in and follows up when something needs you. I did not build an LMS, visual merchandising photo scoring, shift scheduling, payroll or HR. If you need those, keep them on YOOBIC, Pazo or another vendor. You can open Pilla the same day. Starter is £49 a month with 500 processed workflows. Pro is £99 with 1,000, and adds AI automations inside Pilla. Every new account gets a 14-day trial of every Pro feature, with no card. People are unlimited.

Which should you pick?

I would keep YOOBIC if I needed retail store ops, comms, learning and VM photo scoring from one vendor. I would keep Pazo if I needed photo-led visual merchandising from one vendor. If I wanted the work drawn on a canvas and AI acting inside the run, with MCP, I would use Pilla, and I would keep the LMS, newsfeed, VM Copilot and planogram vision somewhere else.

Frequently asked questions

Is YOOBIC the same as Pazo?

No. They overlap on store tasks, photo proof and chat. YOOBIC is built around retail store ops, comms, learning and visit scoring, and they quote you. Pazo is built around photo-led visual merchandising with tickets, and they quote you.

How do YOOBIC and Pazo check the work?

YOOBIC checks with photo scores, pass or fail, and manager review. VM Copilot reviews merchandising photos. Store Manager Copilot can draft action plans. I could not find an AI step inside the campaign the worker is running. Pazo can put an AI agent on a workflow step to score a photo and approve or reject it, then auto-open a ticket. I could not find Pazo fetching live data or acting on other software inside the run.

How much do YOOBIC and Pazo cost?

YOOBIC quotes you by stores, or by locations or users depending on the modules you choose. I could not find a public software price. Pazo quotes you. Silver, Gold and Enterprise are all Custom. They advertise a 15-day trial. Pilla is Starter at £49 a month with 500 processed workflows, and Pro at £99 with 1,000. People are unlimited.

Can staff chat in YOOBIC and Pazo?

Yes. YOOBIC has 1:1 and group chat, a company newsfeed, broadcasts with read receipts, and communities. Pazo documents 1:1 chat, team or department chat and broadcasts, with files, read receipts and messages attached to tasks. I could not find threaded replies, mentions or reactions on Pazo.

Where does Pilla fit if I am comparing YOOBIC and Pazo?

I would pick Pilla if I wanted the floor to follow a process, with the work checked as it comes in. I would not switch expecting Pilla to take over a retail LMS, a newsfeed, VM Copilot or planogram computer vision. The deep tables live on Pilla vs YOOBIC and Pilla vs Pazo.
