MaintainX vs Limble (2026): chat and a published seat price, or MCP, 21 CFR records and a quote

I ask the same twelve questions on every comparison. For MaintainX I went back to their help and the live pricing page. For Limble I went back to help, product pages and API docs. I read those public docs on 16 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.

You chat with the team in DMs and group chats. MaintainX Assist, on Enterprise, answers questions from manuals and work history. Autodesk completed the acquisition on 3 August 2026. You still search for MaintainX.

I would keep MaintainX if I needed a CMMS with technician chat and a published per-seat price. That suite is a fair reason to stay.

Limble holds work orders, assets, parts and preventive maintenance in one place. You prove the work with photos, signatures and timestamps. You start a follow-up work order from an inspection. You comment on the task. Practical AI drafts PM templates from manuals and flags odd meter entries. Premium+ adds a read-only MCP server. Enterprise adds 21 CFR records and a GPS check-in. Limble is still Limble Solutions.

I would keep Limble if I needed a CMMS with a read-only MCP server and 21 CFR records. That suite is a fair reason to stay.

If the job is a CMMS with technician chat and a published price, keep MaintainX. If the job is a CMMS with MCP and 21 CFR records, keep Limble. I built Pilla for a different job.
