Trainual vs SweetProcess (2026): SOP training and company meetings, or SOP docs with assigned tasks

I ask the same twelve questions on every comparison. For Trainual I went back to their help and live pricing page. For SweetProcess I went back to their help, pricing and product pages. I read those public docs on 16 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.

I have not lived in a paid Trainual or SweetProcess account for this write-up. I am telling you what their docs say.

Trainual sells AI training, SOP and operations software. SweetProcess sells SOP software for documenting and running procedures. They overlap on SOP docs, quizzes and comments. They split on training paths, e-signatures and company meetings versus assigned tasks, decision branches and a knowledge base. I built Pilla for a different job: AI acting inside the run.

Trainual holds processes, policies and how-tos in one library. You turn that into role-based training paths, quizzes and e-signatures. The AI assistant answers from the current docs. You can run meetings, goals and scorecards in Operations. Performance is listed as coming soon. Trainual's own comparison says it is not a workflow-execution engine.

I would keep Trainual if I needed SOP training, quizzes and company meetings from one vendor. That suite is a fair reason to stay.

SweetProcess holds procedures, policies and processes in one library. You capture a browser workflow with the Chrome extension. SweetAI can write the first draft. You approve and version the document, assign it as a task, collect form answers and files, quiz people, and take a typed sign-off. You can publish a public or private knowledge base.

I would keep SweetProcess if I needed SOP docs, assigned tasks, quizzes, sign-offs and a knowledge base. That suite is a fair reason to stay.

If the job is SOP training, quizzes and company meetings, keep Trainual. If the job is SOP docs, assigned tasks, quizzes, sign-offs and a knowledge base, keep SweetProcess. If I wanted the work drawn on a canvas and AI acting inside the run, with DMs and MCP, I would use Pilla, and I would keep training paths, quizzes, policy libraries and knowledge bases somewhere else.
