Process Street vs Trainual (2026): SOP workflows and audit-ready runs, or SOP training and company ops

I ask the same twelve questions on every comparison. For Process Street I went back to form fields, widgets, AI tasks, comments, the MCP server and pricing. For Trainual I went back to subjects and steps, checklists, tests, e-signatures, commenting, the AI assistant, the MCP server and pricing. I read Process Street public docs on 15 September 2026 and Trainual public docs on 16 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.

Process Street sells SOP workflows inside a compliance operations platform. Trainual sells AI training, SOP and operations software. They overlap on documenting processes. They split on assigned workflow runs versus training paths, quizzes and a knowledge assistant. I built Pilla for a different job: AI acting inside the run.

Process Street holds policies and SOPs in Docs and runs them as assigned workflows in Ops. You prove the work with form fields, files, timestamps and human approvals. Cora flags skipped steps and overdue tasks. You keep version history and exportable run records.

I would keep Process Street if I needed SOP workflows, policy docs and audit-ready runs from one vendor. That suite is a fair reason to stay.

Trainual holds processes, policies and how-tos in one library. You turn that into role-based training paths, quizzes and e-signatures. The AI assistant answers from the current docs. You can run meetings, goals and scorecards in Operations. Performance is listed as coming soon.

I would keep Trainual if I needed SOP training, quizzes and company meetings from one vendor. That suite is a fair reason to stay.
