Tulip vs Augmentir (2026): station apps and GxP records, or connected work, skills and industrial AR

I ask the same twelve questions on every comparison. For Tulip I went back to Tulip help and the live plans and trial pages. For Augmentir I went back to public product, pricing, terms and launch pages. I read those public docs on 16 September 2026. Where they stay quiet, I stay quiet.

Augmentir's Help Center needs a login, so I did not use it. I have not lived in a paid Tulip or Augmentir account for this write-up. I am telling you what their public docs say.

Tulip sells a frontline operations platform for manufacturing. Augmentir sells an AI-native connected worker platform for industrial frontline teams. They overlap on digital work instructions. They split on station apps, machines and GxP records versus skills, industrial AR and True Productivity. I built Pilla for a different job: AI acting inside the run.

Tulip holds digital work instructions, in-line quality, machine data and GxP completions in one place. You run apps in Player at the station. You prove the work with photos, files, signatures and timestamps. You can add Vision cameras, edge devices and a regulated validation pack.

I would keep Tulip if I needed station apps, machine data, Vision and GxP records from one vendor. That factory stack is a fair reason to stay.

Augmentir holds digital work instructions, skills, issues and assets in one place. You prove the work with photos, signatures and AI step verification. You personalize guidance by skill. You put industrial AR on the machine, bring in a remote expert, and let Augie agents escalate CAPA or trigger CMMS work, with human approval before live-system changes. Command Center and Procedure Studio went generally available on 15 September 2026.

I would keep Augmentir if I needed connected work, skills and industrial AR from one vendor. That plant stack is a fair reason to stay.

If the job is station apps, machines, Vision and GxP records, keep Tulip. If the job is connected work, skills and industrial AR, keep Augmentir. I built Pilla for a different job. If I wanted the work drawn on a canvas and AI acting inside the run, with DMs and unlimited users, I would use Pilla, and I would keep machines, Vision, GxP, skills and AR somewhere else.
