## The model

Pilla has one usage-based price scale. There are no plans, tiers, or per-seat
fees. Every account gets the full product: the visual workflow canvas, the staff
mobile app, every input and guidance step type, workflow analytics and detailed
logs, gated step connectors, Poppi AI decision connectors, briefing steps, action
steps, and 100+ MCP integrations.

You pay per workflow **step** run, not per user. A step is one unit of work
execution: a team member completing an input (text, number, choice, checklist,
photo, video, rating, signature, file) or reading guidance, or Poppi (AI) running
an action, making a decision, or briefing staff. Human steps and AI steps are
billed the same way, on the same meter.

Signing up is free and needs no card. The first 500 steps each month are free
on every account. You pay monthly for what your team runs beyond that. A card is
added later, in the app, only once your usage is set to pass the free tier.

Billing is monthly, pay as you go. Larger operations can contact us to arrange
custom pricing, with enterprise capabilities like single sign-on, audit logs,
dedicated compute, and annual contracts. Prices are in GBP; invoices are
converted to your local currency.

## Tariff bands

Pricing works like a progressive tariff: each band's rate applies only to the
steps that fall inside it, so every step gets cheaper as you grow.

**Is there a per-user or per-seat charge?**
No. You can add as many staff as you like. You only pay for steps run.

**What's the most a self-serve account pays?**
The self-serve scale runs up to 250,000 steps a month. Above that it's a
